An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist to join our vibrant school and contribute to the teaching and research portfolio of the School of Applied Sciences.

The post-holder will join a vibrant, enthusiastic, inclusive and multi-disciplinary team, committed to providing high-quality education to our students. We are inspiring the next generation of pharmacy graduates by adopting innovative approaches to clinical teaching, informed by our research, in order to breed inquisitive thinkers capable of effective decision-making.

Our team delivers clinical teaching to undergraduate students on our patient-centred, case-based MPharm degree.  We also run several post-graduate courses which include OSPAP and Independent Prescribing.  We lead on interprofessional teaching with the Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and have strong research and teaching links with the pharmacy teams at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Trust and other local trusts and community pharmacists.

We encourage applications from individuals with a proven track record in providing high quality clinical care, and experience of teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students. The post is a full-time, permanent position, however, applications from individuals interested in portfolio working to maintain a clinical commitment, would be welcomed.  The School is proud to hold a Silver Athena SWAN award.  We welcome applications from suitably qualified individuals from groups currently under-represented on our staff.

Job-sharers are welcome to apply.
