            <p id="isPasted">The University is seeking exceptional leaders to take on the role of Head of Academic Departments providing academic and operational leadership across all areas of the Department within the College of Health, Education and Public Life. This is a pivotal senior role, central to enabling the College and departments to deliver their academic strategy, research and knowledge exchange strategy, enhance operational performance, and deliver an outstanding student experience.</p><p>As a core member of the College Executive Board, you will work in close partnership with the Executive Dean, Deputy Executive Deans, Director of College Operations and colleagues across the University and College to ensure that College operations function as a cohesive, high‑performing unit aligned to our <a href="https://www.brighton.ac.uk/about-us/governance-and-structure/strategy/index.aspx" target="_blank">Brighton 2035 strategy</a> to deliver excellent and equitable student outcomes, a distinctive, inclusive and attractive student experience and financial sustainability.&nbsp;</p><p>We are seeking five Head of Departments for the College in the following areas;&nbsp;</p><p>1. Department of Education and Social Work<br>&nbsp;2. Department of Allied and Public Health<br>&nbsp;3. Department of Nursing and Midwifery<br>&nbsp;4. Department of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences<br>&nbsp;5.             <p id="isPasted">The University is seeking exceptional leaders to apply for a secondment role of Associate Head of Academic Departments to support the Head of Departments in providing academic and operational leadership across all areas of the departments within the College of Health, Education and Public Life. You will contribute to delivering high-quality teaching, learning, research, knowledge exchange, and student experience by overseeing delegated areas of responsibility and ensuring smooth running of day-to-day activities. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Academic Department, other Associate Head of academic department, academic and professional service colleagues to foster an inclusive and high-performing academic community.</p><p>We are seeking ten Associate Head of Departments for the College (two for each department) in the following areas;&nbsp;</p><p>1. Department of Education and Social Work<br>&nbsp;2. Department of Allied and Public Health<br>&nbsp;3. Department of Nursing and Midwifery<br>&nbsp;4. Department of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences<br>&nbsp;5. Department of Psychology and Sport Science</p><p>Please see the attached job description and person specification for full details of the role.
