Do you feel your racial, ethnic or cultural identity is represented on your course? Do you see your lived experiences reflected in your learning? What could we do differently to improve your sense of belonging?
Inclusive Practice Partners are students who are employed to work with staff in their School to review what is taught at the university with a fresh set of eyes, to help diversify and decolonise our curriculum.
If you have an interest in working on this, why not apply to be an IPP?
You will receive full training, an hourly rate of £11.21, and work an average of two hours a week, up to a maximum of 44 hours, during term time.
If you want to find out more about what it means to be an IPP, you can read a selection of blogs from other IPPs about how they feel this work has benefited their studies and their future.

The University is committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive environment for all staff regardless of age, disability, family or caring responsibilities, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief (including non-belief), sex and sexual orientation. We embrace equality and diversity in our working, learning, research and teaching environment and are committed to maintaining a supportive and inclusive community. We particularly encourage applicants from Minority Ethnic backgrounds because the University is under-represented by Minority Ethnic staff.
For the vast majority of our roles, we operate an agile working system with time split between working on campus and at the employee's home. It is the University's expectation that home working will take place within the UK.
