Programme Assistant (18.5 hours per week)

Salary:  £22,659 to £25,482 pro rata
18.5 hours per week

The School of Sport and Service Management is at the forefront of teaching, research and consultancy in a range of discipline areas. Based at the Eastbourne campus, you will undertake the administration for a range of full and part time programmes and courses.

Working as part of a team you will support and develop the full range of administration in the School, in particular those aspects related to Student Administration. You will meet priorities with a minimum of supervision and have a high level of administrative skills. You will work as part of a team to ensure the objectives of the School are met across a range of activities.

In order to be successful in this role you will have:

  • Ability to produce grammatically correct written work and proven numerical accuracy

  • Strong inter-personal skills to liaise with students, academic staff and other service users including professional services 

  • Ability to be organised and proactive in order to meet changing priorities and deadlines

  • Experience of learning and using databases and other IT packages and applications

This role is part-time (18.5 hours per week), on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.  Actual hours of attendance are negotiable and can be discussed at interview.
