School Systems Administrator

School of Sport and Service Management

Location:  Eastbourne
Salary:  £22,659 to £25,482 per annum
Contract Length: 12 months

The School of Sport and Service Management is at the forefront of teaching, research and consultancy in a range of discipline areas. Based at the Eastbourne campus, you will act as a key contact in the School for a range of University systems.

Working autonomously you will be responsible for aspects of administration related to Academic Workload Planning, Health and Safety and specific projects relating to academic processes. You will use initiative and problem solving skills to interrogate systems and resolve issues that arise from new systems, escalating where appropriate.  You will work as part of a team to ensure the objectives of the School are met across a range of activities.

In order to be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of administration systems

  • Highly developed inter-personal skills to liaise with service users, professional services and external agencies

  • Ability to be organised and proactive in order to meet changing priorities and deadlines

  • Experience of using and interrogating databases

This role is full-time (37 hours per week), on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Job-sharers are welcome to apply.
