Quality and Standards Officer (22.5 hours a week)

Salary:  £26,243 to £29,515 pro rata
22.5 hours per week
Contract Length: 12 months

An opportunity has arisen to join the Quality and Standards division in the University’s Academic Services department. The role is in the Curriculum Team where you will contribute to the delivery of high quality professional services for the University. You will work with schools, departments and external partner organisations to support the academic development and functions of an Academic School. 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • acting as secretary to university committees and groups

  • implementing quality assurance policies and processes to ensure standards are met, providing specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders

  • maintaining records and producing reports

  • researching academic policy issues for the university

A good standard of secondary education (or equivalent), reflecting good literacy and numeracy skills, is essential, as is experience of work in administration and in quality assurance.

Interviews will be held on Monday 9th September 2019 at our Moulsecoomb campus.

This is a fixed term position (until approximately August 2020) to cover a period of secondment.
