Salary:  £32,348 to £36,386 per annum

Come and join our busy Registry Services area where you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality professional services in the growing Academic Quality and Standards team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the central team supporting quality and standards in the area of academic standards and academic governance, supporting the development and implementation of the University's academic regulations and assessment policies.  

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • To provide specialist advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders on the implementation and use of the University's quality assurance procedures, regulations and policies, including academic governance
  • To co-ordinate the development and review of University academic regulations, policy and procedure
  • To act as Officer/Secretary to high level strategic University Committees and panels, managing the business, providing effective information and overseeing resulting action
  • To lead and contribute to training and development workshops
  • To line manage the Quality and Standards Officer(s)

You should be educated to degree level or have equivalent practical application of theoretical knowledge. You will be able to plan and prioritise a range of work activities, and have a practical approach to problem-solving, together with the ability to interpret, apply and communicate complex regulations and procedures.
