Schools Liaison Administrator

Salary:  £23,067 to £25,941 per annum

Our Partnership Office within the School of Education is the hub between schools and colleges, our trainee teachers, mentors and university teaching staff, providing compulsory school-based training opportunities for our large cohorts of teacher trainees. Working closely with the Head of Practice Learning and Development you will help to implement the strategic vision of the School of Education.

This busy and varied role works with a small team of dedicated colleagues, you will liaise directly with our partners, students and alumni. You will administer financial arrangements with the partner schools and colleges and work as an integral part of our Partnerships Team to successfully place hundreds of students each year.

To be successful in this role you need:

  • the ability to communicate information in an understandable way along with the ability to negotiate effectively with a wide range of people
  • a strong team working ethic
     
  • good time management and organisational skills, with flexibility and the ability to problem solve
  • a keen eye for detail

Although not essential, an understanding of the Higher Education environment, particularly schools liaison or teacher training or experience of working in a tightly regulated environment similar to Ofsted regulation for Teacher Training would be desirable.

This is a full time, permanent post and job sharers are welcome to apply. Initially the role will involve working from home, with the expectation that the successful candidate will work at our Falmer campus when we return to office based working.
