Enterprise Partnership Manager (Local Growth)

Research, Enterprise & Social Partnerships

Location:  Brighton - Hollingbury
Salary:  £41,709 to £48,327 per annum
Closing Date:  Sunday 30 April 2017
Interview Date:  Thursday 25 May 2017
Reference:  EG5145-17-100

We are looking for an experienced policy and funding specialist to join our newly restructured Research, Enterprise and Social Partnerships team.

We have recently launched our ambitious Research, Enterprise and Strategic Plan  which describes who we are, what we do and the futures we are helping to build. The themes at the heart of the plan will stake out our distinctive approach and strengthen our identity as a locally-embedded, globally-influential university.

In this newly created role you will manage corporate relations with key partners to enable the university to maximise income, impact and influence. You will develop external relationships with key regional, national and international economic and governance partnerships, establish an enterprise grants pipeline, and increase our research and enterprise capacity.

To be part of the successful Brighton team, you will have a track record in applying for funding, experience of social and national economic development, and of initiating and delivering successful, pan-institutional initiatives in a large organisation, preferably in higher education.

In return, the university offers a wide range of benefits, such as a generous annual leave package with additional time off over the Christmas period, as well as childcare vouchers and travel loan schemes.

Job sharers welcome.
