Income Officer

Finance Department

Location:  Brighton - Moulsecoomb
Salary:  £22,659 to £25,482 per annum

Do you have experience of working in an income/debt collection team, ideally within a large organisation? If so we would like to hear from you.

In this role you will work closely with other team members and other departments to administer the collection of fees and charges due from the University’s students.

Main duties will include:

  • The administration and collection of all income due to the University under the supervision of the Senior Income Officer.

  • The referral of debts to the University’s solicitors. 

  • Providing cover as required in the University's four cash offices on the Moulsecoomb, Eastbourne, Falmer and Grand Parade campuses.

  • Providing information and reports to all levels of management within the University.

In order to succeed you should have good communication skills and a professional approach to dealing with queries, together with an understanding of debt management procedures and concepts.

This is a full-time, 37 hours a week, fixed term post for 12 months, based at our Mithras House campus. Job-sharers are welcome to apply.
