Programme Administrator (29.5 hours per week) - Internal only

School of Applied Social Science

Location:  Brighton - Falmer
Salary:  £22,659 to £25,482 pro rata
29.5 hours per week

In this pivotal role, you will provide high quality administrative support to specific academic programme areas and courses within the School of Applied Social Science.

You will work as part of a team of administrative staff to service Examination Boards and academic programme meetings. Acting as the first point of contact for staff and students you will support the preparation and dissemination of course documentation and materials. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining student records and co-ordinating the submission and return of coursework.

You will be experienced in team working and have proven organisational skills, an excellent level of computer skills and the flexibility to deal with competing demands. You will possess the ability to communicate information in an understandable way and to maintain effective professional relationships across the university.

An interest in the objectives, needs and priorities of the HE sector would be an advantage.

Hours of work are flexible and can be discussed at interview. Job sharers welcome.
