Senior Psychology Technician

Salary:  £26,715 to £30,046 per annum

Come and join our team of Professional Services staff in the School where you will manage the day to day running of the Psychology Laboratory providing an efficient and effective technical service. As a key member of the subject team, you will contribute to course delivery and will lead on the technical aspects of commercialising the lab’s facilities for cross university projects. 

This is an essential role designed to provide specialised technical support for the laboratory-based work of staff and students within the Psychology subject area. 

You should have:

  • A good (1 or 2:1) relevant degree, containing a significant psychology component and BPS accreditation; or the successful completion of a postgraduate conversion course 
  • Up to date knowledge and experience of a broad range of quantitative and qualitative research methods and related software.
  • Experience in team working
  • Proven organisational skills 
  • Flexibility to meet competing demands
