Are you currently employed by the University of Brighton and interested in working as a Course Administrator supporting our staff and students in a Higher Education setting?  If so, then we would love to hear from you.

Working with the Academic Administration Manager and Senior Course Administrators, you will utilise your strong administrative and organisational skills to plan, prioritise and manage a range of work activities.

This includes handling enquiries received through different routes, providing information and advice on University-wide services, policies and procedures, and administrative support for course teams.  You will also provide a friendly and efficient reception service for students, staff, visitors, and other external stakeholders, within agreed customer service levels and standards.

You will have the opportunity to assist with special projects, events or initiatives within the School or wider University appropriate to the grade of this post such as service improvement projects, induction and enrolment, award ceremonies, open days etc. 

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Experience of delivering a broad range customer-focussed enquiry and support services.
  • Experience of carrying out a range of organisational and administrative duties.
  • The ability to produce written communications clearly and concisely.
  • Work proactively to ensure effective service delivery.
  • The ability to use Microsoft Office computer programs to a high standard.

The role is based on our Moulsecoomb Campus but there are opportunities for some remote working too and we welcome applications from candidates seeking to job share.   

This post is an 18.5 hour a week part-time fixed-term (12 months) position only open to internal staff at the University of Brighton.
