Telephone Systems Manager

Salary:  £35,845 to £42,792 per annum

Bring your strong technical and organisational skills to this key position. Based at our growing Moulsecoomb campus you will provide high quality, responsive, modern telecommunications services to our diverse customer base of students and staff.

The Telephone Services Manager is a professional role providing specialist technical expertise, advice and leadership across the institution for the provision of and support of telephony services. This includes external and internal services for fixed and mobile telephony, associated services such as call routing and contact centre technologies and the management of the university switchboard. The role sits within the IT Services division of Information Services and the post holder is responsible for providing reliable voice communications services which meet the current and future needs of the University, in a responsive and cost-effective manner.

We are seeking someone with a proven hands-on, technical understanding of current fixed and mobile telephony technologies, capable of delivering and supporting enterprise telephony services with proven experience of managing key projects, analysing requirements and addressing the needs of a diverse range of customers.

The successful applicant will be personable, with skills to lead and develop a small, experienced team to deliver outstanding customer service across the University in close collaboration with other managers and internal as well as external technical resources.

This is a full time post, fixed-term for 1 year. Job sharers are welcome to apply.
