Technical Services Officer (15 hours per week)

Location:  Brighton - Moulsecoomb
Salary:  £26,243 to £29,515 pro rata
15 hours per week

In this exciting and varied role, you will contribute to the success of staff and students by supporting IT, Media and Audio Visual facilities at the Moulsecoomb & Grand Parade campus. These facilities will include open access computer areas, IT teaching and training rooms, library computer facilities as well as lecture theatres and multi-purpose halls. You will also assist with the maintenance and development of customer services delivery on the site and feedback suggested improvements and comments to the wider Information Services team.

As the successful candidate, you will have a recognised, relevant qualification and demonstrable competence and depth of knowledge, gained through considerable work experience in the use and support of specialist equipment and software in the use of IT, Media and Audio Visual services. An understanding of different Operating Systems (Win10, MacOS, Linux) and their deployment would be advantageous.

This post is for 2 days a week based at our Cockcroft site in Moulsecoomb with a day a week at our City Campus.
