Student Recruitment Events Coordinator

Marketing and Communications

Location:  Brighton - Moulsecoomb
Salary:  £27,116 to £30,497 per annum
Closing Date:  Tuesday 05 July 2022
Reference:  MK5092-22-267

Based within the Student Recruitment Events team this role is responsible for the organisation and delivery of face to face and online open days, applicant days, postgraduate open evenings, campus tours and other activities aimed to provide opportunities for prospective students, their families and school and college groups, to visit the university, both on campus and virtually.

You will work with colleagues in Marketing and Communications, other central services, and academic colleagues to deliver programmes of activity designed to encourage the recruitment and conversion of potential students to assist the university in achieving its recruitment and access and participation targets.

Experience of organising and delivering large scale events to fixed deadlines is essential to this role, as is the ability to communicate effectively and to prioritise your own workload. Experience of organising online events and of organising targeted subject recruitment events at a university is desirable.

The post will require regular weekend and out of hours working; a driving licence is required as the role involves regular travel across multiple campuses.

The University operates an agile working policy which would extend to this role. This would mean the role holder could possibly work up to 60% from home and 40% from the workplace – although flexibility will be required.
