Salary:  £30,942 to £34,804 pro rata

Our department provides strategic management, oversight and delivery of all aspects of the academic and professional services planning cycle. It also provides analysis, evaluation, modelling to enable integrated academic business planning, and the development of meaningful corporate key performance indicators (KPIs), and planning targets, along with leadership of student number planning across the University.

A key area of responsibility is leading the strategic development of Business Intelligence to deliver management information to support effective planning, monitoring and delivery of institutional strategic priorities. The role also involves contributing to and supporting data governance initiatives and you will be expected to help promote data management improvements across the University.

In order to be successful in the post you will have:

  • A degree or other evidence of a high level of analytical, communication and problem-solving
  • The ability to apply a range of appropriate quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques and processes
  • Advanced skills in presenting a wide range of data in both written and visual form, to a varied audience, which will include senior managers
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant software and presentation techniques
  • Experience of using the full Microsoft Office package.

This role will require a diligent and methodical approach, and you should expect to work across a wide range of areas in relation to planning and performance measurement.

This post is full-time (37.00 hours per week), on a permanent basis. We welcome applications from candidates seeking to job share.
