Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence (0.5 FTE)

Salary:  £35,211 to £50,132 pro rata

We are seeking a computing specialist who can contribute to the delivery of our courses using a range of teaching methods and ways of supporting student learning. In particular, you will contribute to the delivery of courses in Artificial Intelligence in one or more of the following areas: Data Mining Techniques;Machine Learning; AI for Games. A PhD or professional experience is essential for the role as well as the potential to develop quality research and enterprise activity in computing. The ideal candidate will therefore be capable of delivering a high quality student experience and have a commitment to advancing research and enterprise.


The School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics is a large and successful school that is committed to delivering high quality teaching, internationally excellent research and working with industry. The School has a strong track record of securing grants from research councils, the European Union, government-backed bodies like Innovate UK and industry and we have centres of research excellence in Computing and Engineering. The School offers a range of postgraduate and undergraduate courses across a range of subject disciplines: computing, information security, mathematical sciences, data analytics and mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering. 


This is a fixed-term role for 6 months.
