Salary:  £26,715 to £30,046 per annum

We are seeking a Senior Programme Assistant to join our team within the School Office for Computing, Engineering and Mathematics. 

The key areas of responsibility within this role will be the co-ordination and arrangement of assessment and examination board administration, as well as systems processes and procedures. As the successful candidate, you will take the lead and guide other team members in these areas of responsibility. The role also involves supporting the School Administration Manager and Deputy Administration Manager and you will be expected to deputise for them where needed. 

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree or other evidence of a high level of analytical and problem solving ability 
  • Experience of coaching and training other staff members
  • Strong communication skills 
  • A background of developing strong working relationships.

You also will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience of data protection and its implications within complex organisations as well as an ability to work systematically and under your own direction.  

Please note this is a full-time (37.00 hours per week), fixed term position until the end of July 2020.
