Salary:  £23,487 to £26,341 per annum
37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Administrator working with the Careers and Employability team.

This is a key student-facing role, acting as the first point of contact for enquiries, triage and being that 'go to' person for careers and system information to a diverse range of service users including students, staff and visitors on our Moulsecoomb campus.  

In this varied and challenging role, you will need to be highly organised, with strong communication skills.  Whilst working as part of a team you will also need the confidence to work independently with a minimum of supervision and show initiative to resolve situations.  In addition to which, you should have good general IT skills and have experience of customer service and/or providing information. To be successful in the role you should have:

  • To be proactive about helping students gain the assistance and knowledge they need.
  • Be able to communicate regulations and procedures, demonstrating sensitivity and diplomacy 
  • Good IT skills, and aptitude to learn new online systems, able to explain and instruct users on applications and update records in databases.

This role is planned as a full-time post with hours of attendance are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30/9 – 4.30/5, but would also ideally suit part-time job sharing, working either mornings or afternoons.
