Do you have experience of working with international students, and would like to play a key role in supporting the recruitment and retention of international students at the University?

Our International Student Advice team provide specialist immigration advice to non-UK students, including casework and advocacy, maintaining their specialist knowledge at OISC (Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner) Level 2.

You will utilise your experience of the complexities of working with international students, preferably in a further or higher education setting, to plan and manage your own workload, supporting the annual recruitment cycle and prioritising on-going casework to meet deadlines.

Working alongside other international advisors and officers, part of your role will be to provide confidential, supportive and objective advice, financial guidance and support services to the University’s growing international community.  Your expertise and knowledge will ensure that international dimensions are considered as part of the wider welfare and wellbeing services of the University.

The University is a large, exciting and diverse place to study and work and you’ll be a proactive professional, experienced with working with international students and key stakeholders.  Your attention to detail, enthusiasm to support international students and your professional experience will enable you to deliver an exceptional service.

This role is fixed term maternity cover.
