Salary:  £26,243 to £29,515 pro rata

Are you an experienced Administrator with a commitment to providing excellent service and support to your team, and wider service users? Then we welcome you to apply for the post of Administration Coordinator within our Disability and Dyslexia Team. 

The Disability & Dyslexia Team work with students who have disabilities to ensure that their learning is accessible, and a pivotal role within this team is coordinating the administrative function which supports the service delivery to our students. You will achieve this by providing advice to staff handling student enquiries, as well as coordinating the day-to-day non-medical helper service of support worker allocations, and finance processes. You will work with the team to support marketing activities, events, and service improvement strategies.

With line management responsibilities for three team members, you will have experience of managing and supporting a team including motivating team members, conducting appraisals, and training new starters.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

  • an understanding of the issues relating to disabled students and best practice across the sector
  • an ability to plan strategically and to implement short-term objectives and milestones
  • previous supervisory or line manager experience
  • experience of managing financial processes such as payroll submissions, paying and raising invoices
