Would you like to play a key role in supporting the wellbeing of our students? Are you a current University of Brighton student?  Then please read on....

Student wellbeing is key to making the most of our student's university experience and academic achievement.  We are launching a new role of Wellbeing Champion student ambassadors who will work with the  University of Brighton Student Wellbeing Team to deliver events, and support groups and workshops aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of our student population.  This is an exciting opportunity to play an active part in student wellbeing, and gain experience whilst engaging in various activities and events, some of which will include: 

  • Support wellbeing campaigns/raising awareness by engaging with students during events, putting up posters, distributing flyers and assisting with set-up and dismantling of event(s) 
  • Delivering personalised talks and presentations online and on campus promoting student wellbeing, signposting where appropriate
  • Leading and facilitating groups of students through online and face-to-face interactive sessions, supporting equality of participation

We expect you to spend an average of 20 hours per academic year on this work, please see that attached casual worker agreement for more information.
