Are you a Level 2 Swim England qualified Swimming Instructor who is hardworking, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high standard lessons? 

This role is open to anyone who currently holds a Swim England Level 2 in Teaching Swimming and is interested in joining the brand-new swim school at the University of Brighton on a causal contract. We plan to launch our lessons and the lessons will run on a termly basis covering Stages 1 to 7 throughout. 

 Purpose of Job:

• To teach swimming in accordance with the Swim England stages and University program
• To continually assess swimmers
• To communicate with Swim School Coordinator  

Job Specific Duties:

• Teach swimming using the schedule provided by the Swim School Coordinator
• Continuously assess swimmers using the tablet provided
• Mark any swimmers ready to move to the next stage
• Liaise with the Swim School Coordinator regarding any issues or concerns 
• Set up equipment before lesson and ensure it is safe to use
• Set down equipment at the end of the lesson
• Ensure poolside is clean and tidy during and after lessons
• General supervision during the lesson (lifeguard will be present on poolside)

We offer a competitive hourly rate.
