We have ambitious plans to grow our established Degree Apprenticeship offer, and this provides a significant area of new development for the University. This is your opportunity to join a dedicated Apprenticeship Team supporting the roll out of these plans.

Offering Apprenticeship programmes in sectors as diverse as Healthcare, Business, Teaching, Social Work, Town Planning and Civil Engineering, we have been delivering degree level apprenticeships since 2016. Our apprenticeship provision was graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in our recent inspection, and if you have a good understanding of Apprenticeships then we would like you to join our growing team of Business Development Advisors.

As a key interface between our course leaders who deliver the apprenticeship programmes, and our employers who employ and sponsor their apprentices, this external facing role will deliver activities that engage with employers to support the apprentice learner experience, and secures opportunities for recruitment to our expanding Degree Apprenticeship offer.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An understanding and demonstrable experience of apprenticeship programmes
  • The ability to demonstrate a record of accomplishment of relevant successful work within a business development environment. Experience of securing new business, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
  • Good attention to detail
